Tanks were invented in 1914 by Lancelot de Mole. Tanks were made by attaching an M60 on a track vehicle. The tank is an armored vehicle used for riding over tough terrain, tearing down barbed wire, and defeating other tanks and armies. The tank proved Heinz Guderian right when he said, "If the tank succeeds, then victory follows."
Lancelot "Lance" Eldin de Mole CBE, was an Australian engineer and inventor. He made several approaches to the British authorities in 1912, 1914, and 1916 in relation to what would become tank. He was born on March 13, 1880 in Adelaide, Australia and died on May 6, 1950 in the Liverpool, UK. The tank was made of A36 carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy metals, and aluminum.
